動態人胃（腸）體外消化系統是模擬人胃腸道消化過程，在體外條件下模擬體內消化吸收情況，用于預測或評估化合物的可消化性、生物利用率、釋放動力學特性及結構變化等研究的體外模型。可選配小腸、大腸組件。體外消化系統可以*或部分替代活體實驗，具有降低成本和時間，提高實驗重復性和準確性，人工可監控等優點。
體外消化系統可廣泛應用于食品營養學，功能性活性物質代謝研究，藥物釋放動力研究，益生菌及益生元，食品毒理學研究等。
利用人胃體外模擬消化系統可在多種期刊上發表文章。
