此抗體和人免疫球蛋白的λ 輕鏈反應，和κ 輕鏈無交叉反應。可研究帶有λ 輕鏈的B 淋巴細胞和漿細胞，細胞外的免疫球蛋白λ 輕鏈也可著色，應注意區分。研究認為B 淋巴細胞腫瘤的共同特征是只限于單個輕鏈的表達，因此κ 和λ 輕鏈可用于良惡性淋巴病變(反應性淋巴細胞增生和淋巴瘤)的研究。
